Dr. Rubye Farahi

Dr Rubye Farahi is a collaborator in the Nanoscale Science and Technology group in the Biosciences Division at ORNL while working at Telesensors INC.

She received her PhD and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2000 and 1995 respectively, and her undergraduate work at the University of Washington (1988).

She received an NIH grant in FY 2006 for a project entitled “Innovative Implantable Telemetric Ethanol Biosensor”

Her current research involves plasmonics.

Her other interests include marangoni forces and antenna science.
